My students have worked hard this year during remote learning. Now that we are reunited and in person full-time, I want to make the most of our last weeks together. By having another table in my room during small group instruction, my students can work easily in groups and with a teacher. This time is so valuable. Currently, we are having to move students' belonging to the floor so we can use their desks during small group. Having this new table will not only save time by allowing us to begin centers quickly, it will also allow every student to continue working at their seat without having to move to make room. If this project is funded, it will also allow for more space in our classroom, because I will be able to remove both teacher desks from the room and use this table and our other group table as our own.
