Your support of this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing. This year I will be focusing on giving my students a voice. I have been working hard to develop lesson plans that will engage students in thoughtful discussion. They will be learning to articulate their ideas respectfully and with evidence to support their reasoning. We are all more likely to put forth our best efforts when we have quality materials. I want to give my students a real "home" for their ideas - a binder for writing masterpieces, not just a spiral notebook.

About my class
