I am a first-grade teacher at a Title I school with a large Hispanic population. My students come from various backgrounds and are very proud of their heritage. It is my goal to provide my students with a variety of diverse literature that celebrates our differences. It is my hope that all of my students can find a book character they can relate to within our classroom library. This collection of books will help me to achieve this goal! These books celebrate cultural diversity, learning differences, and various other social-emotional topics.
