In my art classes, I teach many different techniques and processes with various media, and working with colored pencil is one of them. If used correctly, the effects one can achieve with the Prismacolor brand can look like a painting. Being able to blend the colors into one another and achieving vibrant color is very rewarding to art students. It is such a joy to see them move from lightly applying color to a beautifully rendered work of art. Due to COVID, students need their own set, possibly to use at home and I will not have the funding to purchase quality supplies for everyone in my six High School classes.
