BrainPOP is a highly motivating learning program that uses short high-quality videos to explain content. Often the content relates to current events and aligns with most core standards. BrainPOP is one of the few digital programs I was lucky enough to sample that I found highly effective with my students who need special considerations. My students love the animated explanation as well as the activities, games, and extension activities that are offered. This variety really works for kids who need differentiated instruction and flexibility. I believe the program is easy for parents to understand and can be used in blended learning scenarios.
