Teaching via distance learning has its challenges, however being able to utilize tools, such as dry erase markers to create visuals on a whiteboard over zoom chats can serve as a great alternative to the typical classroom style. Colorful paper and markers are simple materials that will be used again and again to organize many subjects worth of content and create brain connections - especially with foreign language over distance learning. My ultimate goal is to keep things functional and easy to understand for my students to succeed during this challenging season. The supplies that I am requesting for donation include items such as paper, charts, a laminator, and other practical materials that can be used to color-code vocabulary words, create math flashcards, or even act as bookmarks with sentence stems for oral conversation practice. These basic essentials have some initial cost but can make all the difference for the longevity of the school year.
