By incorporating a classroom library with books about diversity and kindness, I hope to create a community environment in my classroom. We will learn how we are different but still the same. The books I've chosen are about diversity an kindness, something all students need to know about. My classroom will be an inclusive environment where I teach my students to get along and look beyond what is on the outside. With STEM manipulatives, I can encourage creativity in my classroom. It is important to allow students time with STEM manipulatives so they can imagine and create. These skills are necessary to prepare our students for the 21st century.
