As a kindergarten teacher I have discovered from trials and errors, that there is nothing more valuable to a child’s education than to have a universal representation of curriculum and educational tools. I believe that the inclusion of technology and simple to use software provides more than just e-books and learning applications, it combines a students ability to discover with their ability to learn. Tablets grant students playful and inclusive means for reading simple texts as well as accelerating their hand/eye coordination. The confidence that a child compiles when they have a learning tool all their own to utilize and control puts education into their hands literally. Children show abilities in knowledge retention at a massive rate when they feel that learning is of their own doing. I will use these tablets to grant this priceless module of curricular assistance to those that are less fortunate and thirst for an equitable education.
