I am very artistic and would love to share my love of art with my class. We have no art teacher in our school. I would like to teach my children about colors and color mixing, textures, and shapes through the crayons, markers, paints, paper, and tissue paper I have requested. Art allows children to develop fine motor skills as well as increase their eye-hand coordination. Crayons, markers, and paints will benefit each child in gaining more skills. We will be using art materials to do various activities. Some of those activities include Fall trees, pumpkins, turkeys for Thanksgiving, Gingerbread people, mittens, hearts, shamrocks, umbrellas, and Spring flowers. I also do art projects to go along with books that I read to the class. Last year, we shared crayons, markers, etc. This year, each child will need to have their own set of supplies due to COVID.
