I am asking for donations to help my project: Cultural Classroom Book Collection! I am wanting to incorporate more culture into my classroom through the types of books that my students will be reading. I want to give students the opportunity to learn about cultures other than their own through books in the classroom library. I plan on using these books for read-alouds. I like to talk about different concepts in the stories with the students to help them draw a connection to the story and someone of a different culture. I want my students to see that they are similar in some ways and that they both have differences that make them unique!
