Kinetic sand will help my provide my students, who may be experiencing anxiety or other negative behaviors with a calming sensory input. In addition, it will help develop their fine motor skills. Kinetic sand will also help with activities, such as exploring items in a fun and exciting way. Parents can hide items in the kinetic sand to encourage language and vocabulary. Kinetic sand has many benefits in strengthening fingers, dexterity, and in hand manipulation. It helps with bilateral coordination skill (using both hands together to mold and shape). It also helps using visual motor skills such as eye-hand coordination.
