My students will use the materials during Morning Meeting and in learning centers. They will help them build a strong foundation in phonics, reading and math concepts . Their learning styles vary and they learn best when using a multi-sensory, hands-on approach. The Play-Doh will help improve fine motor skills, the dot paints will help foster creativity and the magnetic letters will aid in letter/ sound recognition and word formation. The ten frames and manipulatives will allow them to construct physical models of abstract mathematical ideas and solidify math understanding.
