The STEM supplies included in this request will give opportunities for kids to learn through problem solving and working cooperatively. They can build with their hands and practice language skills through verbal communication and real world problem solving. It supports my students who learn through kinesthetic action and socal experiences. Creating with tangible materials like blocks and legos generates ideas and encourages depth and detail in student responses. It allows kids to express their answers in a variety of ways and sets the stage for increased student equity. The materials you are providing are more than just toys. They are unique ways to deepen learning and communicate understanding. We are born makers, We move what we are learning from our heads to our hearts through our hands.
