It has been an incredible 11 weeks of distance learning. During those weeks my home became my classroom with a very limited amount of classroom tools to teach with. As we approach the new school year in the fall, we can predict further days of distance learning. An iPad and stylus can allow me to teach from home and the classroom in a variety of ways. There are many apps that allow me to use virtual math manipulatives and interactive lessons. The iPad can also be used as a virtual whiteboard where I can record notes, solve problems live with my students during our video meetings, walk students step-by-step through processes in small groups, and more! Once we return to more routine classroom instruction, the iPad will be a resource that we can all use to communicate and share our ideas easily.
