My young learners enter my room everyday with different needs and it is my job to meet them where they are at. With these flexible seating options, my kinders who are more sensory oriented will receive the sensory input necessary to focus. My kinders who LOVE to move will be able to bounce or sway as they need to focus. Most importantly, all of my kinders will be able to meet their own individual needs in order to help everyone focus as a whole. Our classroom aims to facilitate independent students. These new seating options will give them a choice about how they learn best. They will be learning to take control of their own learning environment and be able to focus and grow to their fullest potential. Movement and choice are important for our young learners to be engaged and grow their love of learning!
