Majority of our students come from underprivileged households who do not receive an equal opportunity to learn. We are in need of materials to be able to teach guided reading to ensure their needs are being meet. I am requesting a guided reading collection and leveled books so they can learn to love and enjoy to read. We will be displaying these books on a document camera in small groups designed by the appropriate level reader. We will assess the students to see what level they are on and then start guided reading. Students are looking for new books to keep their interest on learning and letter recognition. Thank you in advance for assisting our classroom.
