We only have seven I-pads in our classroom, which means they have to share and only get limited time on them each day. I would like to buy more I-pads so my kids can have the same advantages as kids in surrounding districts. I-pads would be used for research-based websites and programs that encourage reading or math skills, but they would also be used for exploration and research. I want my kids to wonder about the world around them and then use technology to go learn about it. Why are there so many ladybugs on the playground? How do sharks sleep? Who invented numbers? How do you become president? I want technology to be used to ignite their curiosity and make them WANT to learn.
