We are beginning a financial literacy course at EWHS. Our goal is to set these students up for success as they leave high school. We will cover topics like taxes, checking, savings, credit, insurance, investing, and budgeting. We want all of our students to have the financial understanding to make sound financial decisions. We want to teach them how to manage their money and how to let their money work for them. That is the main reason we have selected this book. The ultimate goal is financial independence for all of our students. The students have been asking for a course like this for a while. Now that we're giving it to them, we want to make sure to do it right. This text will play a large role in doing this right.
