Every product in this project will be used all year to ignite creativity in the students at Rockwood Elementary! Imagine never experiencing the joy of drawing, painting, and sculpture! Kids need paper, drawing tools, brushes and paint to proudly express themselves through art. Cultural diversity exploration, self-portraits, literature integration, and social studies enrichment are just a few of my plans this year to add an art "sparkle" to our learning and learning to our art! Did you know that art instruction helps children with the development of motor skills, language skills, social skills, decision-making, risk-taking, and inventiveness? Won't you be a part of this exciting project? Please help me create a space where my students can come and create the first time they enter the art room this school year!
