These Amazon Fire tablets will enhance my students' creativity and productivity in our kindergarten classroom. By having the capability to capture learning opportunities during literacy center times, students will be able to take greater ownership of their independent and cooperative learning times. Each kindergarten child in my class is unique, and it's important to me as their teacher that I am able to foster their curiosity and confidence for learning. Every child has the opportunity to engage in learning centers throughout the day in my classroom, while I work directly in small groups differentiating for individual learning needs. While technology naturally lends itself to independent learning sites, I plan to implement the use of tablets for creative learning projects too. If schools should shut down again during the 2020-2021 school year, I want my students to be familiar with the sort of creative learning assignments that they can independently produce using technology at home, as well as in the classroom.
