Technology is changing the way we interact with the world. Nearly every job has a component to it that requires the worker to have effective use of technology. We must model effective use of technology. More importantly, we must make sure our students have access to using technology frequently. My students are enthusiastic about using Chromebooks, but without daily access to technology in the classroom using these educational resources proves difficult. Students will use these Chromebooks to carry out a variety of internet-based activities to enhance their educational experience. In addition to accessing various educational websites (such as Khan Academy, Google Classroom, Moby Max, etc.), my students will be able to complete work on our Pearson Realize platform that we use for math and reading. When using these Chromebooks to access the Pearson Realize learning platform, teachers will be provided with instant data. Teachers can use this data to differentiate instruction and raise student achievement. With Chromebooks, I can meet the needs of all innovators in my classroom.
