Students learn best when lessons are engaging and fun. Tablets will be used in the classroom throughout the day while reading, playing math interactive games, watching social studies videos, researching writing assignments, and viewing science experiments. In our inclusion classroom we have students on many different reading and math levels. During guided reading and math, tablets will provide students to access to books and math activities on their individualized level. Donations to this project would allow students to work on engaging online activities that are differentiated according to individual needs and also allow disadvantaged students the opportunity to discover things and places they may never see through virtual field trips and videos. They would also motivate students and instill in their hearts a lifelong journey filled with a love of learning. I know my students would absolutely love having these devices in our class!
