Learning Stations allow students to take charge of their learning and make the academic choices that work best for them. During center time children work together to communicate, create, and think critically. The multi-purpose easel will provide our students with the opportunity to work together during both Literacy and Math Center time. They will experiment with hands on projects that provide movement and creativity. Literacy Centers will include word work that allows students to make sounds while physically moving letters, make creative sentences with high frequency words, practice writing on the white board and reading with a Big book which always inspires engagement and delight. Math Centers will be supported with magnetic manipulatives and the white-board writing space to problem solve.
