I want to fill my classroom library with high interest, young adult books that value diversity in protagonists, as well as authors. I’m taking my lead from Project LIT, a national literacy movement of educators and students committed to increasing access to diverse books and promoting a love of reading. I can’t wait to get all of the books on the Project LIT book list! I want my students to experience that feeling of being totally invested in a story and not being able to put the book down. I know they would love reading if they could get their hands on the right books. This project would help me get these awesome books into the hands of deserving students. Thank you for your consideration!
