The materials for this project will benefit my students as they learn while they are playing! Your donations will help provide my students with toys that will enhance their learning through play. For example, the food supplies will be used to build consonant-vowel-consonant word sandwiches (CVC). The remaining food will be used to sort by food groups, colors and sizes. The ice cream set will help students count, sort, identify numbers, add, and subtract. Students will build CVC words and sort crayons by color. The alphabet locks strengthen students fine motor skills as they learn about letters and letter sounds. Students will use the cash register to identify coins, add and subtract as they role play cashiers in the dramatic play center. Vehicles will be driven down roads with sight word signs. Each toy has been specifically selected for a learning purpose! I thank you for your donation!
