All materials listed will be used to help build a classroom where my students feel safe and excited to learn. The carpet, calming blanket, and fidgets will provide students stimuli when in need and aid in helping them focus/have incentives. The flashcards will provide an interactive way they can practice skills together in small group or one on one sessions. The standing desk allows me to take the students into non-traditional settings to have more opportunity for interactive lessons. In order for students to feel engaged, they need resources and settings that make them feel their individual needs are being met.
