The power of a good book can be monumental. It is really important to provide our students and teachers with books that can be used as read-aloud, lessons, and personal reading that provide different perspectives. To see yourself, your community, and your world in a book is a powerful tool and resource. My hope is that this book list will help support this. I would like to continue to build our library collection to represent all of our students by providing windows, mirrors, and sliding glass doors to our world through literature.
