Most materials will be used to project audio/visuals -- i.e., Powerpoint presentations / videos. We expect to use blended learning -- a combination of some students in classroom / some at home. Geometry is all about shapes, both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional. Therefore, manipulatives allow for hands-on learning, while the audio-visual materials will allow for visualization. This also appeals to different learning styles -- e.g., visual, auditory and kinesthetic. Other materials will be used for measurement, construction, building 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional models, and drawing shapes, as well as items necessary to print handouts and for classroom organization.
