The books that I am requesting will become read alouds during our live classroom session on distance learning. We are all hoping that the students will be able to come back into the classroom and enjoy reading the books in person. Until then I plan to read to them every day and encourage them to read at home. I want to show them how exciting reading can be even if we can't be all together in person. I want to expose my students to different genres and provide them with a diverse group of books that will help them learn this year.
