Hello, I teach 3rd grade in Fairbanks, Alaska. To be specific, I teach in the same 3rd grade classroom that I was a 3rd grader in several decades ago! I was fortunate to have supportive teachers and families that fostered my love of learning and now I feel very fortunate to do the same for my students. I have a wonderful classroom of kind and curious learners, and we are eager to learn as much as we can each day. We incorporate our green space (mostly white space during our long winters!) by learning outdoors as much as possible in place based learning projects. We love STEAM time in our room, and many of the Donor's Org projects, have helped fund these popular projects. Thank you for supporting our learning community. I have 25 students in our classroom, plus our beloved bearded dragon, "Rex" and our entertaining axolotl, "Lucy." I assure you that your generosity will be appreciated and treasured for years to come!
