I just moved to this district last year. I currently don’t have a carpet in my classroom and we would utilize this carpet many hours everyday. Kids come to the carpet to learn math, reading, and for class meetings to learn social skills. This carpet gives each child a specific place to sit which creates a positive, organized environment for kids to thrive. Kids need structure and this particular rug does that. It is an area for our class to come together to learn, have fun, and build community everyday.

About my class
