My students attend a public grades 9-12 high school in Maryland. The area is rural with access to larger cities if you drive an hour or two. I am trying to build a ceramics program in our high school that encourages all the students to explore new possibilities and become motivated to explore ceramics as a career choice. Exposing them to new ideas is one of the ways I encourage them to expand their horizons past our little county.
