Students will return to school in the fall after an extended time at home and unexpected digital schooling. Students will need concrete resources that will allow teachers to incorporate new skills into their daily instruction. With the help of new interactive read alouds and individual readers teachers will be able to capture the attention of students with high interest text selections. With your help, students will have all of these materials readily available at their fingertips and provide a lifelong impact. We plan to purchase guided reading materials through Teachers Pay Teachers, interactive read alouds to model explicitly how to be a successful reader and Storyworks Jr. and Storyworks by Scholastic. All of the resources will be implemented through small group, mini lessons and will capture the attention of our students to inspire a love of reading.
