By implementing Legos in our social break it gives students the opportunity to practice social skills while working in groups. Everyday students are given the opportunity to socialize during our social break. The expectation of this break is that they are with a peer or in a group of peers and are either playing a game or working on a lego project. Regardless of our student cognitive levels, Legos brings our students together. With the use of Legos, students are engaged in peer to peer conversation and share mutual interest.
