My students in Flint, MI are continuously affected by the inequities plaguing poor communities. The digital divide is yet another barrier in which my students have to face. As their teacher I seek to eradicate the digital divide for my students by providing my students with Fire 7 tablets. Access to resources necessary for remote learning should not be a barrier. The digital divide barrier will no longer be a reality for my students. The Fire 7 tablets will be the beginning of ending the digital divide in America. Thank you!
