As a third grade ICT teacher, I have had the pleasure of working with a group of wonderful students since the fall. This group of students are hands-on learners who are eager to participate in each lesson. They consistently show a positive mindset towards learning, despite facing personal challenges everyday. Since Covid-19 separated us, our amazing students have been trying their best to learn from home, but do not have the supplies to do so. Many of our students don't have a notebook to solve their math problems or write a response, crayons or markers to use to add to their assignments or use in their free time, or even pencils to write with. We would like to provide our third graders with those supplies for the summer and fall, which we may be doing remotely.
