The beginning and end of my kindergarten day are important for setting the daily tone as well as building anticipation for the next day. I definitely utilize my classroom carpet many times throughout the day, however, the start and finish are key! Whole class instruction happens on our class carpet. During that whole class time, we are learning, collaborating, and becoming a family of lifelong learners! Children need a defined space in order to stay focused on tasks at hand. This classroom carpet will provide that sense of group as well as individual space needed.
