Due to COVID19 my students are now home actively engaged in distance learning zoom classes. They are in low income multi-family homes with several people around them at all times. Their parents cannot afford these necessary items, that my students grew accustomed to using in school. It is extremely difficult for my students to concentrate on independent work assignments, especially silent sustained reading activities, with so many distractions in their homes. Personal headphones would provide them the opportunity to tune out external noises that so easily distract and hinder their progress. My students would greatly benefit from this new addition to their distance learning classroom
