Flexible seating options will be the perfect addition to our active and engaging classroom! These diverse seating options will provide each scholar in our classroom with the opportunity to not only enhance their academic focus, but also build healthy habits and independence. Having flexible seating options will support our scholars in feeling empowered by having choice and control over their environment. It will also support them in their need to move and wiggle! The options I have chosen will specifically support them in wobbling, rocking, and bouncing. Also, flexible seating will also provide our sensory-seeking scholars' stimulus to support them in regulation. And lastly, we want to increase the Joy Factor in our classroom! Our scholars are hard-working, motivated, and demonstrate grit everyday. This addition will not only enhance academics, but will also create a more active, enthusiastic, and relaxed room of scholars!
