Sitting on the hard floor or in desk chairs does not support a collaborative environment for my students. In the STEM lab, I want to provide students with a space that takes them out of the normal classroom setup and supports their collaboration and innovation in a variety of spaces with comfortable furniture designed with this in mind. I want students to be able to walk back into the STEM lab, and when they look around, immediately jump into their engineering mindset and feel that spark of creativity and drive. All of the furniture I am requesting will be used to create a flexible working space in my classroom, where students can work comfortably and collaboratively.
