I have created a special learning environment for when they return to the classroom from the quarantine. Each student has their own learning pod that allows each student to socially distance from one another without impacting learning or comfort for the student. Each learning pod is color coordinated. Each pod has their own desk, locker, cubby, coat hook, trash can and plexiglass safety shields. The only problem is the chairs the children sit on are very uncomfortable. Some teachers have replaced the chairs with five gallon buckets with lids to sit on. My students deserve better than crappy chairs and hardware store buckets. I want their return to be wonderful. I want them to fall in love with their classroom and never want to leave.
