My students come from low-income families and may not have these kinds of comforts at home. As an educator, it is my responsibility to provide a safe and comfortable classroom so that my students can thrive and be successful. The flexible seating and comforts of the cozy corner will not only give my students the support they need to learn but encourage them to make choices that work best for their learning style. By donating to this project, you are giving my students the chance they need to succeed. The whiteboards and chart paper will help me scaffold and teach them the skills they need for writing and reading while hanging out in The Cozy Corner. My students fall well below grade level in their reading skills, but with the items that I have selected, they will have a safe space to reach reading and writing mastery.
