In our classroom, we will use these Chromebooks to introduce technology and allow students to become familiar with computers and tablets. Understanding how this hardware functions is important to become proficient and confident in using technology. In addition, students will use the Chromebooks during guided reading time in order to access online resources that emphasize reading skills such as letters and sounds, rhyming words, phonemic awareness, parts of stories and much more. Students will also be able to access online resources in subjects such as math, science, writing, etc! They will be able to work independently and/or cooperatively with classmates.

About my class
