Providing tele-therapy services during remote learning to children with special needs poses challenges, which are further increased by lack of materials and equipment in the student's home. These items will be used during live tele-therapy sessions with a non-verbal student, who loves exploring with her hands. We will be addressing OT goals including improved pre-writing skills, fine motor coordination, hand strength, sorting skills, direction following, attention to tasks, and overall engagement in therapy. The family will further utilize these supplies during the summer until school is back in session. Thank you so much in advance for your kindness! My student and her family appreciate it greatly.
