Workstations in math, writing, and reading allow students to take charge of their learning and make the choices of their stations that work best for them. Students can enhance their learning and understanding by using a workstation that is fun and engaging for them, rather than just boring old worksheets (YUCK)! Because these workstations are already made it also helps me have more valuable teaching time with my students, which is a huge lifesaver! My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of fun and engaging workstations to use. The products that I have selected will help my students by giving them additional learning resources that are engaging and fun as well as TEK based, so I know my students will be using materials that are valued by the state of Texas and our curriculum. The workstations will help my students improve their learning and understanding of the material being taught. I chose these products because they cover all the essential standards that we work on throughout the school year and the workstations will receive a lot of attention by my kiddos next year! I have seen how fun, engaging workstations improve student learning and I hope to provide more awesome resources for my students next year!
