We are lucky enough to finally be providing access to technology for students who lack such opportunities due to low socioeconomic status. These children are the ones who need this opportunity most! Many students are auditory learners, and they learn best from hearing new information at the same time they are learning visually. These headphones will help to provide my students learning opportunities that will give them a better chance at success. Without appropriate technology resources, many of these children will not be adequately provided the learning opportunities to prepare them with the skills needed in a 21st century world and future career. The learning possibilities are endless when technology is paired with appropriate and success-proven strategies. These strategies cannot even be attempted without basic equipment such as headphones.
