The items that I selected will be used to build a literacy center for my kindergarten students. I’ve selected these items because my students need fun and interactive educational activities to keep them motivated. These items also allow the students to learn collaboratively with their peers. Unfortunately, our school is located in the inner city and we are housed in a reconstructed warehouse. The school does not have a playground, cafeteria or gymnasium, therefore our students spend much or all of the day in one classroom. I’ve selected the STEM materials because I know my students love building, creating, and using their wild imaginations. I would love to provide them with these items to explore with during indoor recess. Thank you!
