After sixteen years of teaching, I'm moving on up! Sixteen years ago, I decorated my classroom with my own funds. Needless to say, it could use some refreshing. A theme doesn't seem like a big deal, but it gives the students pride and ownership over their classroom. By decorating my room in a superhero theme, I will be creating a fun and engaging classroom! I want each of my students to feel like they are superheroes in their own learning. I am to inspire them in their learning by creating a fun and encouraging learning environment. I want each student to be comfortable in taking ownership of their learning! I can just imagine the first day of 2021 and the students walking into the newly decorated room feeling like superheroes after the pandemic.
