This project is geared toward materials to create big projects with the Micro:bit. This tiny computer is an open ended introduction to computing and physical engineering. Managing these materials can be a big task and having lots of different parts is a great way to get ideas flowing. Using digital fabrication tools like the 3D Doodle with the Micro:bit , all of my students can bring their ideas to life through drawing with 3D filament. With knowledge from a summer training through Infosys Pathfinders Summer Institute, I can use these tools combined with Micro:bits to offer even my youngest students a chance to make. From creating their own games arcade, to solving a design challenge for our school building's PA system, all these things are possible when you combine various tools. Having a robust mix of materials turns students into makers.
