All our students want to learn and engage in physical activity. Our P.E. classes currently have a small supply of equipment that only allows for a limited amount of opportunity to engage in new and exciting activities. In class, the new sports equipment will help develop fundamentals in many athletic avenues that students previously had no supplies or resources to participate in. This can help build a sense of confidence and self-worth, particularly when students who have never participated, experience success. P.E. helps build many fundamentals in life outside of athletics. Most importantly, these experiences will expose our students to teamwork, fair play, perseverance, self-discipline, and hard work—all necessary aspects of success in life. This will help enhance their lives in ways that are indescribable.
